As a Data Engineer, a typical day might include:
Working closely with clients, Solution Architects, and project teams to translate customer technical specifications into Bullhorn Database solutions.
Consult with the client and project team on best practices for migration issues and resolving them.
Developing complex, optimized T-SQL scripts to migrate data
Performing ad hoc data updates
Analyzing various data sets
Data analysis, the ability to review a database and identify entity relationships and attributes without the availability of diagrams or documentation
Set & Manage Expectations with Project team regarding project deliverables
This job might be for you if:
You have 2+ years of writing complex queries, stored procedures, views and other database design work in MS SQL Server
You have ETL development experience
You have experience in client facing roles
You have the ability to work self-directed and as part of a team on projects of varying size; shows commitment to tasks, project, and to the team
You have strong verbal, written, organizational, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
Bonus points for:
Experience with Typescript
Bullhorn experience
Multilingual
Ability to write complex SQL queries that leverage built-in functionality such as pivot, cross apply, loops and recursive CTEs
You have experience with web technologies, languages and frameworks (REST, SOAP, Angular, SQL, Python, Java/Spring)
